Guilds: The Rules and the Treasure Hunt

October 13, 2026 · Rapidfire Games

Guilds arrived in 7.1, and you’ve already filled our inboxes with great questions. How does guild size change the Treasure Hunt chests? Do you need a full 30-player guild for the best rewards? What happens if you switch guilds mid-hunt? Here’s the full rulebook in one place.

The Treasure Hunt

The Treasure Hunt is your guild’s shared goal. Each hunt lasts 4 days, and a new one starts as soon as the last one ends.

Earning Treasure Map Treasure Maps

  • Maps come from Ranked runs only.
  • You earn 1 map each at 5, 10 and 15 wins, plus 1 extra map per Trophy Crystal bonus round win, up to 5 more. That’s up to 8 maps in a single run.
  • Conceding still keeps the maps you’ve already earned in that run.
  • You can earn up to 100 maps per day (the day resets at midnight UTC).
  • Your maps go to the guild you’re in when the run ends.

Guild size sets your tier

At the start of each hunt, your guild is placed in a tier based on how many members it has. The tier stays fixed for the whole hunt, so players joining or leaving mid-hunt don’t change it. If your guild grows, the bigger tier kicks in when the next hunt starts.

Bigger tiers need more maps (about 8, 20 and 60 maps per member), but every chest pays out more cards and Coin coins. Here’s how many Treasure Map maps each chest needs:

Guild sizeChest IChest IIChest III
Tier 1: 1–5 members40100300
Tier 2: 6–10 members80200600
Tier 3: 11–20 members1604001,200
Tier 4: 21–30 members2406001,800

You don’t need a full 30/30 guild for the top rewards. Any guild with 21 or more members at the start of a hunt is in Tier 4.

What’s in the chests

Compared to Tier 1, chests pay ×1.5 the cards and coins in Tier 2, ×2 in Tier 3 and ×3 in Tier 4. Gem Gems are the same in every tier.

TierChest IChest IIChest III
126 cards, 500 Coin40 cards, 1,000 Coin, 5 Gem76 cards, 2,500 Coin, 10 Gem
240 cards, 750 Coin62 cards, 1,500 Coin, 5 Gem116 cards, 3,750 Coin, 10 Gem
352 cards, 1,000 Coin80 cards, 2,000 Coin, 5 Gem152 cards, 5,000 Coin, 10 Gem
478 cards, 1,500 Coin120 cards, 3,000 Coin, 5 Gem228 cards, 7,500 Coin, 10 Gem

The cards include guaranteed higher rarities. A Tier 4 Chest III holds 150 Common, 45 Rare, 15 Epic, 9 Legendary, 6 Mythic and 3 Unique cards. Clear all three chests in Tier 4 and you’ll walk away with 426 cards, 12,000 Coin and 15 Gem.

Claiming your chests

  • Contribute at least 1 Treasure Map to your guild during the hunt, and you can claim every chest the guild unlocks.
  • Every member who chips in gets the same chests, whether they brought 1 map or 100. The top-3 podium posted in guild chat is just for bragging rights.
  • There’s no minimum time in the guild. Join on the last day, earn a map, and you’re in.
  • Each chest can only be claimed once per hunt, even if you switch guilds.
  • Missed a claim before the hunt ended? You can still collect it when you next open the game.

Switching guilds mid-hunt

Your maps stay with the guild you earned them in. If you leave (or are removed), any chests that guild had already unlocked are sent to your inbox. Anything it unlocks after you leave isn’t yours. In your new guild you’ll need to contribute at least 1 map, and you can’t claim a chest you already claimed this hunt.

Running a guild

Joining and creating

  • Guilds unlock at 300 Trophy trophies (Area 6).
  • You can be in one guild at a time, with up to 30 members.
  • Creating a guild costs 100 Gem.
  • Guilds are either Open (anyone can join) or Apply only (the leader approves requests). The leader can also invite players directly.
  • Join requests and invites expire after 7 days.

Name, tag and look

  • Name: 3–24 characters. Tag: 2–4 letters or numbers, shown in capitals. Description: up to 160 characters.
  • Names and tags don’t have to be unique. Every guild gets its own Guild ID you can search for, so share yours with friends.
  • The name and tag can be changed once every 7 days. Banner, crest, description, region and join type can be changed any time.
  • Pick from 47 banners (12 colors and 35 flags) and 32 crests.

The guild leader

Every member can chat, share replays and join the Treasure Hunt. The guild leader can also:

  • approve or decline join requests,
  • invite players and remove members,
  • edit the guild and delete chat messages,
  • hand over leadership or disband the guild.

Leaving, removals and leadership

  • You can leave at any time, with no cooldown.
  • A player removed from a guild can’t rejoin or reapply to that guild for 72 hours, unless the guild invites them back.
  • If the leader leaves, leadership passes to the member who has been in the guild the longest.
  • If the leader is inactive for 30 days, the most recently active member takes over. The old leader stays in the guild as a Member.
  • Disbanding removes everyone, but members still get any Treasure Hunt chests they’d earned.

Guild chat

  • Messages can be up to 300 characters. Bad words are masked automatically.
  • Sending messages very quickly or repeating the same message gets you briefly muted, and the mute gets longer if you keep going. Hopping between lots of guilds in one day also earns a short chat timeout.
  • Blocked players’ messages are hidden for you.

Gold Pass gift

When a guildmate buys the Gold Pass, everyone else in the guild can claim 25 Gem for free from the guild chat. The gift lasts 14 days, and only players who were in the guild when it was posted can claim it.

Guild names and descriptions: community rules

Your guild’s name, tag and description are public, and we can see all of them. If a public guild name or description is incendiary, racist or otherwise harmful to the community, we will act on it. That can mean:

  • removing the guild,
  • removing your ability to create or join guilds,
  • shadowbanning your account,
  • forcing a rename of your account or your guild,

with no refunds or compensation.

These measures protect the community at large. Anyone can report a guild name in-game, and we review the reports.

Guild chat is your guild’s own space, and we hope your guild leader will help keep it friendly. Leaders can delete messages and report anything that crosses the line. That doesn’t make guild chat private, though: we can read it, we review reported messages, and the same consequences apply.

Like moderation on our Discord, we use a light touch. But consider this your fair warning: don’t be stupid.
